Kind of an overlong less good Suzanne Vega.

I think my overriding feeling with this album is that it felt quite disjointed and jumpy. I quite like an album where the setting is clear, that's very immersive to me, whereas with this although you get immersion to some degree it was very difficult for me to settle into it. But then every now and then something just worked, I couldn't quite decide why, and then before I knew it we were jumping around again. This did get less and less true as the album continued but I couldn't shake that when I started listening again I still felt the same about the early tracks.
