Every time I come back to this record I'm more impressed by it than the previous time I listened, it's joyful and intriguing. I can only describe Hozier's ability to completely transform a softer track into a huge sound as though he is shifting gears with his voice, and I really can't think of many singers with that same range. It makes for a fantastically whole sounding album, one which isn't so much broken down into tracks but fluid sections.
