Good honest record - very pared back and emotionally raw. Less is more sometimes.

This is a really impressive record and a lovely thematic concept. An air of Joni Mitchell lingers in the vocal lines, combining masterfully with a pared back, palatable piano, strings, and acoustic-dominated accompaniment. Evokes a wonderful sense of place, has a powerful emotional resonance, and a child-like innocence and beauty.

A very touching album I'm not sure exactly what made this one so special maybe the concept of a mother writing to her child or maybe just the calmness of the music itself. Just off of a first listen this album is a 8 however I could see this going up. A great concept done really well, very heart warming. Proof that you don't need an ensemble of producers and musicians to make a fantastic bit of art.
