I could see myself really enjoying this in the right environment, like a cool evening walk, on the end of the track "Timeworm" for example it puts you into an interesting chilled out headspace that maybe I wasn't immediately expecting. Off the back of that the following track works out of the mellow feeling to a little bit more of an up beat but calm song. However I feel like I've missed something on this album in terms of what they're trying to do. It briefly touches on a few topics but never does anything with them which is maybe intended but I'm still confused as to its direction. As far as just the sound of the album its good but the lyrics for me didn't do much for me however they did do a great job for filling out the sound profile and adding to the feel of each song regardless of the actual content of the words. A good example is the last few songs which aren't in English but are still interesting wind down the album. I did finish this album thinking what on earth was the point however it was interesting and sounded good, and after all the most important part is the enjoyment, it doesn't have to be something profound, but that also doesn't make it stand out either. Could be a little higher but its the bottom end of a 6 for me right now.
